The Contract will ensure the facility is safe, clean, and accessible to the public throughout the year, excluding Christmas Day.

Kent Downs National Landscape is working in conjunction with Asian Hornet Alert to help distribute monitoring traps for this invasive non-native species across Kent. This pilot project called Making Trapping Happen, is aimed at helping farmers, landowners and smallholders monitor the threat of Asian Hornets, which prey on honeybees, bumblebees, hoverflies and butterflies - all vital for pollination and healthy crops.
